SHOULD ONLY RUNWAY MODELS BE RECOGNIZED IN NIGERIA?

In the modeling industry in Nigeria, people tend to believe that only runway models are relevant, and even only recognized, the truth of the fact is when a  5'8guy tells anyone "I am a model" they will tell you "but you are not tall enough, how can you be a model?" all because the models they see are  the ones on the. runway who are tall, to be sincere, models on the runway are runway models, and they are a part of the whole modeling industry. Just because runway fashion shows are being hosted and only the models who run the runway doesn't mean it's only those models who are relevant, most people in Nigeria who are ignorant of this are those who are not in the modeling world, the worst of them are those who don't let anybody explain things to them but they try to say their own view in an industry they don't even know the beginning about.

It is not a lie when I say runway models appear to be the models mostly recognised, appreciated, and deemed to be the most successful ones, no! There different types of models, and runway modeling is just an aspect of it; we have the:

Commercial models
Runway models
Fitness models
Photography models
Editorial models
Nude models
Body art models
Pageantry models

Runway models are strict with height and they differ, so if a 5'11 male model is able to walk on a runway doesn't meannhe can walk on a 6'0 minimum height requirement for another runway, not all types of modeling involves height and in my own opinion, its not just the runway models who should be recognised, but other types of models too, photography, commercial, and the likes but here in Nigeria I have noticed that its only runway models people tend to recognise as models alone, which is not true, what can be done to enable other types of models be recognised in Nigeria.
